RONAN — Friday was the day when the Senior of the Year was voted on. This year our Senior of the Year is George Stonehocker. Thank you to all who came in and placed nominations.
On Wednesday, July 19, we will hold the monthly foot clinic starting at 10 a.m. and it will go through lunchtime.
The menu for the coming week is:
— Wednesday, July 19: Polish dogs, chips, salad, fruit, dessert
— Friday, July 21: taco bar with all the fixin’s, salad, fruit, dessert
— Monday, July 24: barbecue chicken, bread/butter, veggie, fruit, dessert
— Wednesday, July 26: brunch
We gladly welcome anyone to come and join us for our noon meal. We serve at noon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
All gardeners - if you are looking for a place to take your excess produce, the Ronan Senior Center gladly accepts any and all donations.
Friday, July 28, is the date for the monthly Birthday Dinner at the center. We will celebrate with a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings. We will also have music from 11 a.m.-noon. All are welcome.
Meal prices are $4 for those 60 and over and $5 for those under 60. It is a great and inexpensive way to have a noon meal that is both nutritious and delicious.
Remember in this heat to stay hydrated so you can enjoy a healthy summer.
