Judge James A. Manley sentenced the following person on Nov. 8:
Justin William Ladue, 23, of Ronan, received a three-year deferred sentence. He was originally charged with assault with a weapon after the vehicle he was driving allegedly struck the driver’s side rear of another vehicle he was following from Salish Kootenai College on April 3. Ladue allegedly tailgated the other vehicle with a white Honda Civic from SKC to near Two Eagle River School. According to a court document, Ladue had an altercation with the man driving the other vehicle a week before. Manley said the victim approved of the sentence and noted that it would be Ladue’s first felony.
