Woman charged with assault with vehicle
POLSON — A 31-year-old Ronan woman is facing an assault with a weapon charge for allegedly striking another woman with a vehicle on May 23.
Jamie Michelle Fisher was charged after Paris Anne Moll was found lying on the road near North Foothills and Clairmont Roads east of Pablo.
Moll, 24, of Ronan, suffered bruises and two broken ankles, according to a court document.
Moll had been with another woman, Tiffany Jore, with whom she had been in relationship, the document states. Moll had followed Jore in a vehicle on Haystack Lane, and they parked and walked before Jore allegedly hit and bit Moll, the document states.
Jore then called Fisher, whom she was in a relationship with, to pick her up. When Fisher arrived, she drove the vehicle she was driving into Moll, the document states. This caused Moll to be on top of the vehicle and grab the vehicle’s antenna, which a law enforcement official later said was missing from the vehicle.
Fisher pleaded not guilty in District Court on Nov. 29, and a jury trial was set for May 18, 2018.
Jore, 30, of Ronan, faces a misdemeanor charge of partner family member assault, first offense, according to a Justice Court clerk. An omnibus hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 22, 2018.
Moll earlier pleaded guilty to drug possession and received a three-year deferred prosecution related to an April 9 incident in which she allegedly returned to a North Foothills Road residence after being told not to and smashed a total of eight windows in the home and in two vehicles with an aluminum baseball bat. Charges of criminal mischief, assault with a weapon and criminal trespass were deferred as part of a plea agreement. A separate drug possession charge was dismissed.
According to a court document, the windows of Moll’s Lexus were allegedly smashed and she was attacked by residents of that same North Foothills Road residence earlier that day.
