Judge James A. Manley sentenced the following people on Feb. 7:
Angela Rachelle Guardipee, 30, of Ronan, was given a five-year sentence in the Department of Corrections with two years suspended for theft and bail jumping. Another bail jumping charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement. According to a court document, Guardipee stole a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix and sold it to a woman who was later pulled over while driving it in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Guardipee was ordered to pay $2,643 in restitution and given credit for 326 days served in jail.
Douglas Basil Kenmille, 28, of Elmo, was given a five-year deferred sentence for drug possession. He was arrested on Nov. 14, 2017 after leading law enforcement on a chase at speeds up to 100 mph. After the vehicle he was driving was halted with stop sticks, Kenmille ran on foot but was eventually caught and Tased, a court document states. A pipe with residue from methamphetamine was found on him during a search. Two other drug possession charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement. Kenmille was under a three-year deferred sentence at the time of his arrest, but that sentence was then revoked and he is currently serving a five-year sentence. The newest sentence will run consecutively with the previous sentence.
Joanne Couture Twoteeth, 55, of Polson, was given 13 months in DOC for her fifth DUI. She was also given three years suspended and was recommended for a residential alcohol outpatient program following her time in DOC. She was assessed a $5,000 fine plus fees. The conviction stems from a July 29, 2017 traffic stop.
Paul Edward Mahseelah Sr., 72, of St. Ignatius, was given a five-year sentence to DOC with two years suspended for his sixth DUI. According to a court document, Mahseelah had a .112 blood alcohol content during an Aug. 15, 2017 traffic stop.
Cassandra Diane Harris, 24, of Ronan, was given a two-year deferred sentence for possession of dangerous drugs. She was given credit for 98 days served in jail.
Timothy Lee Matt, 28, of Pablo, was given a two-year deferred sentence for possession of dangerous drugs.
Melissa Gardipe, 29, of Pablo, received a two-year deferred sentence for possession of dangerous drugs.
Judge Kim Christopher sentenced the following people on Feb. 8:
Thomas Charles Parker, 28, was given a two-year deferred sentence and ordered to complete a nine-month drug and alcohol treatment program with the Department of Corrections as a condition of plea agreement. He was given credit for 63 days served including 60 days of inpatient treatment.
Lester Joseph Old Horn, 50, of Polson, was given a two-year deferred sentence for possession of dangerous drugs. He was ordered to get a chemical dependency evaluation or serve 15 days in jail.
