POLSON — A 24-year-old Pablo man has been charged with raping a juvenile.
According to a court document, Cory Ryan Drowatzky had oral intercourse with a 15-year-old boy on Jan. 8.
Drowatzky was released on his own recognizance on Jan. 10 but ordered to wear a GPS tracking device. He pleaded not guilty in district court on Feb. 14 and a jury trial was set for July 16.
On Feb. 14, Judge James A. Manley ordered that the GPS be removed because the alleged victim is now residing in Wisconsin. Manley ordered that Drowatzky can have supervised visits with his 2-year-old child outside of the child’s home in Ronan.
A conviction for raping a juvenile under age 16 carries a penalty of four to 100 years or life in prison with a fine of up to $50,000.
