Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Aug. 31-Sept. 6:

Wayne John Fisher, 82, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for following too closely, reasonable and prudent.

Brian Keith Viles, 54, pleaded not guilty to the charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was found guilty and fined $450 with $300 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended and 2 days credited time. Viles also pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was fined $560 with $300 suspended, charged $25 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended and credited with 2 days.

Kelly Paul Bills, 33, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and charged $500 with $300 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

The following individuals forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for failure to stop at Invasive Species Management Area Check Station: Jason Bradley Black, 33; Wesley Everett Harmon, 31; Michael J. Sedlock, 72.

Liam Richard Schoening, 21, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for careless driving.

Robert Casey Trezona, 44, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for violation of DFWP rules and regulations.

Titus Ottum, 63, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol – second offense. He was fined $2000 with $1400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 1 day in jail, (can do 4 hours Sheriff Labor Detail within 60 days).

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Harold E. Fuchs Jr., 76, fined $20; Sara Maxine Larson, 26, fined $20; Marilyn Dianne Torell, 67, fined $20.

Christopher James Maples, 37, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for failing to purchase a trip permit immediately upon arrival in State.

Yagmus Abay, 22, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for improper passing in no-passing zone.
