St. Ignatius seniors for Oct. 28, 2020
ST. IGNATIUS — It has been cold outside, and I hope everyone is staying warm.
Menu for the week:
— Friday, Oct. 30: stir fry with rice, Asian slaw, fruit, rolls, brownies
— Tuesday, Nov. 3: chicken tacos with fixings, Mexican salad with beans, fruit, Jell-O, baked treat
— Wednesday, Nov. 4: tuna casserole with pasta, corn bread, green beans with bacon, fruit, baked goodie
— Friday, Nov. 6: stuffed shells with ground beef and tomato sauce, corn, garlic bread, green salad, fruit, baked good
— Tuesday, Nov. 10: tater tot casserole, steamed broccoli, salad, fruit, brownie
We will have our Thanksgiving meal on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 18, unless the board cancels it due to health concerns for participants and staff. This meal will include roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, rolls, green beans, fruit and pumpkin bars. There will be no delivery. If you would like to pick up a dinner that evening, please make sure to call by 1 p.m. on Tuesday. If “Meals on Wheels” participants would like a Thanksgiving meal delivered along with your regular lunch on Friday, Nov. 20, please call the center by 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
Since this meal will be served on the second Wednesday of November, we will still serve a regular noon meal on Wednesday, Nov. 25. However, there will be no meal on Friday, Nov. 27.
