ST. IGNATIUS — Even in this time of pandemic and political upheaval, we have a lot to be thankful for. I am grateful for the sense of normalcy that we try to maintain within the guidelines, and of course for my family and friends.
Our Thanksgiving dinner was delicious and everyone attending enjoyed the evening.
As we roll full tilt into the holiday season, I’d like to remind you of some schedule changes. The center will serve a regular meal on Tuesday, Nov. 24, and Wednesday, Nov. 25. We will not be serving a meal on Friday, Nov. 27. In December will have our evening holiday meal at the center on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
Menu for the week:
— Wednesday, Nov. 25: soup and turkey sandwich, cook’s choice veggie, dessert
— Tuesday, Dec. 1: chicken Alfredo, veggie, fruit, dessert
— Wednesday, Dec. 2: beef casserole with noodles, veggies, rolls, fruit, dessert
Please order a meal or cancel by 10 a.m. Our lunches are available on Tuesdays, Fridays, and the first and third Wednesdays of the month. During holiday months, please check our newsletters or call the center for information as to extra meals and kitchen closures.
