LAKE COUNTY — Various Mission Valley groups have reworked their traditional sit-down community Thanksgiving feast to maintain safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Ronan, the annual Ronan Community Thanksgiving dinner will be curbside pick-up only on Thursday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Boys and Girls Club in Ronan.

They are limiting volunteer help to ensure the safety of workers and members of the community. For questions, call Rita at 406-871-1648.

In Polson, meals will be either curbside pick-up or delivered from the Mission Valley Elks Lodge, 512 Main Street. The number to call is 406-250-7902, which is a dedicated phone number for texts or calls where callers can leave a name, phone number, address and number of meals needed. Pick-up and delivery will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Nov. 26, at the lodge. Reserve your dinner early by calling 406-250-7902.

In St. Ignatius, the community drive-thru dinner will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, at the St. Ignatius Senior Citizen Center, located next to the bank. The dinner is free and will include turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls and dessert. Friends and neighbors in the Ronan and St. Ignatius communities are hosting the event.
