A Polson man admitted to driving his white Jeep while intoxicated this past August and causing an accident.

Dillon S. Bindschadler, 29, entered a plea of guilty at District Court in Polson on Jan. 20 to felony criminal endangerment and misdemeanor driving while under the influence.

On Aug. 3, emergency services were dispatched to a report of an incident involving a white Jeep and a motorcycle at the intersection of U.S. Highway 93 and Tower Road. According to court documents, the victim sustained injuries.

At the scene, Bindschadler admitted to investigators that he had been drinking alcohol earlier in the day. He also admitted that he turned in front of the motorcycle causing the driver to crash into the front right portion of the Jeep.

The man driving the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital for treatment of several broken bones. Judge James Manley set sentencing for March 10.
