Local NBC channel slanted on gun control

During the KECI (NBC Montana) newscasts the week of Feb. 18-22, the station aired a five-part series titled “The Facts: Guns in America.” It is ironic that before airing each segment, they state that the series “leaves opinion and politics aside.” In my opinion, the series contains some facts, but is weak on truth and is very slanted toward gun control.
I wondered why KECI would put such a slant on this issue. After a bit of research, I discovered that KECI is part of the Bonten Media Group, headquartered in New York City, and that this series is being aired throughout Bonten Media’s U.S. market. Mark Twain said, “Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.”
