POLSON — There’s nothing like a summer evening watching a rodeo with good stock pitted against rodeo athletes from around the state and the U.S.
At the Polson Fairgrounds, the Mission Mountains and the Flathead River provide some of the most beautiful scenery of any rodeo grounds in Montana.
This Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28, Big Circle Rodeo Company will be bringing their broncs, bulls and roping stock for the Mission Mountain NRA Rodeo at the Polson Fairgrounds.
As a sponsor of the rodeo, Ram Rodeo Series will be making a stop in Polson, and Ronan Dodge Chrysler Jeep will have 2014 models on hand at the rodeo grounds.
Performances begin at 6:30 p.m. each evening with mutton bustin’ and youth miniature bull riding for the younger set, which makes good watching. The regular rodeo begins at 7:30 p.m.
Rodeo Timber Tuckness will be the barrel man.
For entertainment, the Bozeman Trailblazers Drill Team will perform, according to Una Rose Graham of Polson Fairground Incorporated. Also a trick rider is on the program.
Bring family and friends, a blanket, and enjoy the rodeo from the newly upgraded grandstands. Food and beverages are available on the rodeo grounds, but no coolers are allowed. Arts, crafts and clothing vendors will also be set up by the grandstands.
Support the PFI and enjoy an evening of Montana entertainment.
