Veterans’ Powwow to honor members

PABLO — The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Veteran Warrior Society will be holding its 17th Annual Veterans Powwow on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13 and 14.
This event will be at the Joe McDonald Activities Center in Pablo. This years powwow will be honoring all of the past and present VWS Honor Guard members with special recognition of John Wheeler and Richard Nichols who passed away during active Honor Guard service.
Grand Entries will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday. A meal will be on Saturday, 5-7 p.m. for veterans and their families as well as for the drummers and dancers.
