Jingle Jog to benefit Lozeau
Valley Journal
POLSON —This year, Jingle Jog proceeds will go to Layne Lozeau to help offset medical expenses.
Lozeau is a 6-year-old boy who has been diagnosed with ALD or adrenoleukodystrophy, which is also known as Shilder’s disease and is a rare, life-threatening disorder that leads to progressive brain damage.
The Jingle Bell Jog will be Saturday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. and is a 5K Run/Walk and the theme is “Lace Up for Layne.”
Cost is $15 per participant, entry forms are available at polsonrunning.com.
To maximize donations, fleece ear warmers will be offered instead of t-shirts for race participants.
Polson Running, St. Joseph Medical Center, Century 21 and Polson Family Eye Care are sponsoring this year’s race and it will begin at Century 21 Big Sky Real Estate in Polson and will head east on the bike/pedestrian path next to U.S. Hwy. 35.
The trail is kept free of piled snow, but be prepared for winter weather.
Jingle bells will be provided. |
