Who’s John Doe?

POLSON — The Port Polson Players, in association with the Mission Valley Friends of the Arts, open the comedy/drama “Who’s John Doe?” this Friday, May 20, at Polson’s beautiful log Theatre on the Lake. Neal and Anna Lewing (as the Colonel and Ann Mitchell) join David King as John Doe. These three performers join a cast of 25 for this 1941 treatment of brotherly love in the face of political corruption. “The message,” says director Neal Lewing, “calls on the common Everyman to love their neighbor. In answering the title’s question “Who’s John Doe?” the simple answer is “We The People.” Who’s John Doe? is a must-see, just before Montana’s primary elections. The production plays two weekends at Polson’s Theatre on the Lake, May 20, 21, 22 and May 27, 28, 29. Friday and Saturday curtains are at 7:30, with Sunday Matinees at 2 p.m. Call 406-883-9212 or go to PortPolsonPlayers.com for more information or to make reservations.
