Last week for 'Foxfire'
It’s the last week for Foxfire, which runs through Sunday, Aug. 12, at Polson’s Theatre on the Lake. Based on the Foxfire books, the show brings Appalachian values of “faith, family and the land” to the stage. Pictured here, the Foxfire cast consists of Louis Jepson, Karen Lewing, Anna Loehrke, Neal Lewing and Kyle Stinger. The show is both humorous and poignant, accented with country music, customs and superstition. On Aug. 16, the Players open the musical fantasia Souvenir, which runs through Aug. 26.
