RONAN – An Aug. 8 tractor accident claimed the life of a well-known Ronan attorney.
Frank Lloyd Ingraham, 88, died on Aug. 10 at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula from injuries sustained two days previously. Shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 8, Ronan Ambulance, sheriff’s deputies, Flathead Tribal Police, and Ronan Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call of a man trapped under a mowing tractor at a residence on Terrace Lake Road, Lake County Undersheriff Dan Yonkin said.
Ingraham was breathing when he was found and was transported to St. Luke Community Hospital, according to Yonkin. Ingraham was moved to St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula, where he later died.
Ingraham was a long-time resident and former Ronan City Attorney who argued one case all the way to the United States Supreme Court.
