Editor,
Now that we’re getting close to this very serious election, character assassination is in earnest.
Right out of the Chicago playbook.
The liberal left always seems to find all these terrible things that Republicans have done, but never consider the plank in their own eye. They seem to have all of this bad info, much of which is not even true. “Let’s keep this going until after the election” is the battle cry. Then they make the statement: “Well, we thought it was true.”
Charles Krauthammer has some good advice, “Tell the truth, it’s easier to memorize.” Many believe that without the votes of Tester and Baucus we wouldn’t be saddled with the train wreck that is Obamacare (thanks, Max) — which might I remind you, took billions of dollars out of Medicare. I don’t feel that I need to bore readers with all of the other scandals along the foggy bottom of the Potomac.
News flash — Daines and Zinke are not perfect, but at least they won’t be ordered around by Harry Reid. Montana can use people with business experience, not someone who spent their years as a political hack.
Cut these men some slack. You might be surprised at all the good they can do.
