CHARLO – The Lady Eagles went 0-3 this last week of play but not without putting up a fight in between.
Thursday the Lady Eagles faced the tough hitting Lady Vikings on Charlo’s home court with the Lady Eagles falling 0-3.
With 14 points scored on the serve, Tyra Michel led the Lady Eagles with seven aces and followed up with an additional seven kills and a pair of blocks.
At Hot Springs Friday, the Lady Eagles put on a marathon performance bringing the set count to five and falling by only three points in the last game to finish 2-3 against the Lady Savage Heat.
With 46 total kills, Cassadi Wunderlich led with 19. Hailey Couture served up eight aces from the line while Shay-Lyn Andrew went low for eight digs.
On Saturday the Lady Eagles took on Arlee at home with the Scarlets sweeping the Lady Eagles 0-3.
Michel and Wunderlich each had five kills apiece with Michel adding three aces while Misty Mendoza had 11 of Two Eagle River’s 36 digs.
The Lady Eagles will head to Superior Oct. 11.
