FLORENCE – After falling behind in the first quarter, the Bulldog football team picked it up and scored in every quarter thereafter while Mission defense stopped Florence from ever seeing the end zone again in the 36-7 District 6-B conference win over the Falcons Saturday.
Emilio Bravo helped that defensive wall with 13 tackles and an interception while Raymond Matt scored twice for the Bulldogs including a 38-yard punt return putting 98 yards on the grass under his cleats for the game. Mission, 3-3 on the season, will host Loyola-Sacred Heart Oct. 10.
