To all Salish and Kootenai Tribal Members: I have received nearly two and a half dozen telephone calls from tribal members asking me if I had written the full page ad in the Ronan Valley Journal on October 1, 2014. This concerned the tribal membership signing petitions for the rescinding of the Nez Perce vs. Salazar monies and the Kerr Recapture Fund. Unfortunately, it wasn’t me. When I write a letter to a paper, I always sign my name, always. However, I do agree with the questions that have been asked in this ad and you should be thinking strongly about them, too.
