To our Tribal Council, I am against the buying of Kerr Dam. It’s all very old and will need major repairs. I think it should be put on the ballot. The Council talks about tradition, but they don’t follow what they say. Their word goes to the wind.
My son had a hunting camp, and he tried to get a donation from the tribal council. They gave him $65. They gave the non-Indian politicians donations for their campaign, but they won’t give us money when we need money.
I think it’s pay back time because I voiced my opinion at meetings so they took it out on my son.
What happened to all the money from the casino? Other tribes get payments from their casino, but we don’t.
I’ve done my saying. I’ve been fighting against the tribal council since I was 12 years.
It’s up to the tribal members now.
