Editor,

This summer/fall I had a choice to visit any state and town in the U.S. I have always wanted to visit Montana, so Montana became my choice of state to visit. Now what town? Well, after looking on the internet of towns in Montana, I came across “Polson”. So Polson it was.

I packed my bags and hit the road. My journey took me from Russell, Kansas to Denver and finally up to Polson. And my, oh my, it was worth the drive. Your town is very beautiful. Flathead Lake is gorgeous. The town folk were very friendly as well. I enjoyed shopping in Polson as well as the restaurants. The surrounding towns were neat, too. I really enjoyed the bison range.

It’s true, Montana does have a big sky. I was also impressed with police and fire departments on 9-11. They had that fire truck and a firefighter and police officer standing on the corner with our American flag. Very cool. Thank you, Polson and Montana for a memorable vacation. See ya Sept. 2015.
