We just received our county tax bill. Our irrigation administration fees have been reduced by $4 per acre.
Two former Mission Irrigation District commissioners raised our MID administration fees from $2.65 to $9 per acre in September 2013, against the vocal wishes of the majority of irrigators. Only Mission and Jocko district paid the $9.
This year, thanks to our strengthened Flathead Joint Board of Control, the administration fees went from $9 to $5 per acre.
