POLSON — Kathy Neely, from the Area VI Agency on Aging, will be in the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center on Tuesday, Nov. 25, to inform senior citizens about Medicare plan changes. It is that time of year when insurance companies change their insurance plans and seniors can change their coverages. Appointments are necessary for the consultations. A signup sheet is located in the center.
Activities in the center for the rest of November are:
• Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
• Lunches begin at noon.
• Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Lunches can be delivered to qualified seniors.
• Friday, Nov. 14: baked chicken and birthday cake lunch
• Tuesday, Nov. 18: meatloaf lunch
• Wednesday, Nov. 19: Thanksgiving turkey dinner, 5:30 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 21: chef’s salad and soup lunch
• Tuesday, Nov. 25: pork tenderloin lunch; Medicare consultations
• Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27 and 28: center closed for holiday
