News from Macy’s
Macy’s celebrates the holiday season’s spirit of generosity and goodwill as the retailer embarks on its 7th annual “Believe” campaign benefiting Make-A-Wish® America.
Now through Dec. 24, “Believers” can bring their stamped letters to Santa at a Macy’s store, and for each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million, to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. New this year and as part of the letter collection, customers can also visit: macys.com/believe — online or via a mobile device — to email their letter to Santa.
By doing so, be a part of holiday history and help us break the Guinness World Record Achievement for the longest wish list to Santa. Start by visiting macys.com/believe and write your online letter to Santa and then add your holiday wishes to the wish list.
Since 2006, Macy’s “Believe” campaign has garnered support and participation from customers across the country, resulting in more than $8.7 million donated to Make-A-Wish.
In addition to the letter collection drive, customers can join in the spirit of the holidays through other “Believe” campaign elements, including a school musical program, a nationally televised animated special, activity guides for teachers and the return of the sixth annual National Believe Day.
Testimonials from Make-A-Wish® recipients can be found at wish.org.
