The Ronan Beautification Committee is lighting a tree this year on the Bilile property on northeast corner of Main and 2nd Avenue. Back when old Highway 93 ran through Ronan, the town’s Christmas tree stood on the same corner, according to committee member Ronna Walchuk. Billy Webster of Access Montana and Tony Adams of Mission Valley Power strung the lights in the deciduous tree Friday morning. Each year the companies help the committee decorate downtown street lights with festive decorations.
