RONAN — Welcome to December. Now that “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday” are out of the way, us old folks can get back to the old fashioned way of shopping.
Our Thursday night dinner will be on Dec. 11. The meal starts at 5 p.m. and we will serve chicken. The cost is only $5 per person and you sure get your money’s worth.
Cards will be played here at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, and the foot clinic is from 10 a.m.-noon on Dec. 17.
Our Christmas dinner is also on Wednesday, Dec. 17. This is a noon meal and the cooks have a great ham dinner planned.
The date of the November birthday dinner has been changed again. It will be on Friday, Dec. 19, we will have a combined birthday dinner for November and December.
We will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25, Friday, Dec. 26 and Wednesday, Dec. 31, for the holidays.
Time is growing short if you want to purchase tickets for the Council on Aging raffle or the center’s gift baskets. Come into the 4-H bazaar this weekend to purchase tickets for either or both of them. You may also contact the COA at (406) 676-2367 or the center at (406) 676-2371 or come in to the center to get tickets.

• Monday, Dec. 8: barbecue ribs
• Wednesday, Dec. 10: taco bar
• Thursday, Dec. 11: chicken
• Friday, Dec. 12: cheeseburgers
• Monday, Dec. 15: chicken enchiladas
• Wednesday, Dec. 17: baked ham
• Friday, Dec. 19: roast beef
• Monday, Dec. 21: pizza
• Wednesday, Dec. 23: meatloaf
• Friday, Dec. 25: we are closed
• Monday, Dec. 27: ham and bean soup
• Wednesday, Dec. 29: salad bar
• Friday, Dec. 31: we are closed
