Editor,

The Tribal memberships’ money is being slandered on two casinos. The members need to see in black and white how the income benefits the membership now. Many tribal members travel to Worley, to enjoy the Coeur d’Alene casino. Every one should watch their documentary of how it began, through the efforts of council, elders, membership, how they begin with 80 employees — with two expansions — and are now at 2,000 employees; from no per capitas to substantial per capitas along with all of the other things they have developed from the income.

The tribal membership is the only chance to put a stop to this waste. If the buyout is not stopped there will not be any per capitas from now on. If you’re in doubt have Energy Keepers show the membership when and how much our per capitas will increase. We need new direction from the membership, where tribal leases are for tribal members. Suicide prevention is suicide prevention. Social services will find out soon that state, federal and tribal laws are there to be followed. Our tribal council will find out they, as our government, need to know these laws and enforce them. The council and social services took away attorneys and parental rights years ago. Overthrow tribal council dictatorship. Tribal members have been losing for years, but only members can change this.
