Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Dec. 19-25:

Brandon Joseph Jeppersen, 30, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and fined $350, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 176 days suspended.

David William Wozniak, 30, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and fined $250, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended and credit for 2 days. He also pleaded not guilty to failing to have child under 6 years old and less than 60 pounds properly restrained. He was found guilty and fined $50 and $35 in court costs.

Paytra Dawn Starkel, 44, pleaded not guilty to assault, purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury to another. She was found guilty and fined $100, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended. Credit for 1 day and 28 hours served given with 5 days and 20 hours owed. 

Andrew James Larson, 60, pleaded not guilty to failing to give notice of accident by quickest means/apparent damage over $500. He was found guilty and fined $200 and $35 in court costs.

Brent Joseph Herreid, 33, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Angela Wieczorek, 34; Calvin Thomas Christian, 76.

Richard J. Kreis, 59, forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for violation of commission or department orders or rules.

Arnold A Lucero, 56, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation.

Bradley Mark Rowe, 33, forfeited a $20 bond and $35 in court costs for failing to wear hunter orange while big game hunting.
