Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Dec. 26-Jan. 1:

Patrick David Dellwo, 25, pleaded not guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $250, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended. Dellwo also pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, second offense. He was found guilty and fined $600, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended and credited with 3 days.

Donald Robert Mielke, 26, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. He was found guilty and fined $200, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.

Patrick David Dellwo, 25, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoke. He was fined $200, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended. Dellwo pleaded guilty to failing to give notice of accident by quickest means/apparent damage over $500. He was fined $100, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 20 days in jail with all suspended. 

Tara Barrows, 53, forfeited a $500 bond and $35 in court costs for unlawful possession/ship/transport of game fish/bird/game or furbearing animal-elk/deer/antelope/mountain lion.

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Mark Edward Moore, 40; Kathy Jean Roberts, 53

Kevin James Moll, 23, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation.

Erin Courtney Watkiss, 41, forfeited a $50 bond for careless driving.

Editor’s note: Clarification on charges against Paytra Dawn Starkel: On Dec. 22 she pleaded not guilty on 3 charges of assault, purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury to another. She was found guilty on all 3 charges and was fined $300, $255 in court costs, and sentenced to 540 days in jail with 533 days suspended.
