Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases from Dec. 23, 2011, to Jan. 5:

Lucas Meriweather, 16, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.

Jeffrey Douglas Freeman Jr., 27, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. If Freeman provides proof of a valid driver’s license, jail time will be waived.

True W. Bystrom-Johnson, 32, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 suspended, and fined $600 plus $85 in court costs.

Laurence T. Paddock, 59, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of operating with an alcohol concentration of .08 percent blood alcohol content or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.

Harry C. Fritsch, 61, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Fritsch also pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. Fritsch also pleaded guilty to displaying license plates assigned to another vehicle. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Craig Tyler Fiorentino, 21, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
