POLSON — The newly formed Mission Valley Boxing Club is in need of professional boxing coaches and certified boxing officials for future boxing events. Ken Camel, former professional boxer and club organizer, is seeking experienced boxers to assist with the coaching, as well as individuals interested in learning the rules and regulations needed to become certified as a boxing official. The National Golden Gloves and the Montana Amateur Athletic Association requires coaches, corner persons, judges, and referees to be certified. There will be a coaches’ training session offered at the Montana Co-Op, 401 Main in Polson, at 5 p.m. on Jan. 15.
