Everyone has a right to their opinion, and shouldn’t be belittled for it. Everyone also has the right to love. According to Mary Ann, age 4, “Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day.” Mary Ann’s definition of love is so simple. Why change it?
America is on its way to a dark, dismal, unthinkable future because different ways of love are being looked down upon.
I’m proud of schools for not necessarily promoting same-sex relationships, but accepting them. And I’m more than happy that gays are finally starting to feel like they are “normal,” just like the rest of us.
Whether The Supreme Court of the United States says it’s OK or not OK for a man to love another man, they’re going to love each other anyways. Love is stronger than any set of laws. So, get over it. Remember these two important rules: treat others how you would want to be treated, and never judge a book by its cover.
Purple, pink, fat, skinny, gay or straight, everyone will be accepted sooner or later. Stop fighting for hatred against your neighbors.
