My fellow tribal members, I would like to take this time to commend one of our tribal council members for carrying out their duties with a moral obligation to our people of the Flathead Nation.
There has been much controversy as of late concerning the new Gray Wolf Peak Casino and the people have every right to question its feasibility.
By now you have probably read or heard the concerns of your fellow tribal members, relatives and friends so I will not get into those questionable issues.
There is still time left to seriously discuss all the issues concerning this project and these issues should be brought to the floor, with the people deciding the final outcome as this project involves a huge amount of tribal dollars.
A relatively small number of people (less than 20) decided to spend this huge amount of money for something the majority of the people may or may not want.
I would like to commend and congratulate Shelly Fyant for a job well done on this issue. My accolades to Shelly — keep looking out for the people.
