PABLO — The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly — no it isn’t a movie, but a social media workshop as part of the 2015 Salish Kootenai College Career Fair. By attending this workshop you will learn the many issues you may encounter when applying for a job or having an interview with a prospective employer. Get important answers to questions you may not have thought about in terms of social networking such as Facebook and emails.
Salish Kootenai College Career Services, Student Support Services, and Lake County Job Service are hosting a Career/Job Fair, Tuesday, Feb.17. The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Joe McDonald Health and Wellness Center.
For students and potential employees, the SKC Career Fair will aid you in gaining insight into what employment opportunities exist in your chosen field and what skills and abilities the employers and recruiters are seeking.
Representatives from local, state and national organizations will offer: full and part-time employment, summer employment, as well as internships and career opportunities.
Last year 450 participants were able to meet with more than seventy employment/recruitment agencies. You will be able to meet with potential employers and add to your personal/professional network.
