Editor,
I don't believe that Kandi did anything wrong. If more parents would step up and take control of their children there would be a lot less children involved in drugs, violence, theft, etc.... The state needs to back off and let the parents raise their children unless there is actually harm coming to the child. Then that state should do something. But the way it is now the state has it so a parent cannot discipline their child without something like this happening. Therefore the children are able to be in control of their parents instead of the parent having control. And as long as the child has control the drugs, violence, and all other types of crime are going to continue to get worse.
I disciplined my kids and to this day they are good kids and have the utmost respect for adults. To me it is wrong that someone has the right to tell you how to raise your child. I can understand the state stepping in if there is actual abuse, but there is a difference between abuse and discipline. They have taken abuse way too far, and the bad part is the kids know it, so therefore they are in control.
Kandi is a good person, and loves kids and is good with them. Just take a look at how long she has been working with them in one way or another. Has she ever hurt any of them?
