CHARLO – Charlo School Board plans to review applications for a 2015-2016 superintendent this month. As of Feb. 17 the board had received five applications for replacement for Thom Peck, who has served as superintendent for three years.
“Now is the hot time,” Peck said of the selection process, reasoning that other districts would also be on the hunt for viable candidates.
Board Chairman Shane Reum wanted to get the hiring process moving.
“I want to review them as soon as possible,” Reum said. “I don’t think we’ve ever been this far ahead. We’ve always been behind, so the pool is automatically smaller.”
