HELENA – The Real Montana Short Film Competition is accepting submissions of one-minute videos featuring Montana. Five categories are available: Food and Beverage; Artists, Culture and Events; Places; Outdoor Adventure; and Wildlife and Scenery. The public will vote to pick winners from each category.
Prizes totaling $5,000 will be awarded for the top three videos from each category. The top two videos from each category will continue to a final round of voting, where three winners will share a prize pool of $15,000.
Additionally, submissions have a chance to be featured on the state’s official travel website, VisitMT.com, and in other advertising to promote tourism.
Submissions will be accepted through April 6. The first round of voting will occur April 7–21, and the final round will occur April 22–29.
