While Walmart and McDonald’s are acknowledging the necessity to increase the wages of their employees, we in Montana have the distinction of having a senator that wants to deprive a substantial number of workers the right to earn the established minimum wage.

Please join me in letting Senator Janna Taylor know that slavery was abolished during the days of Abraham Lincoln and that Senate Bill SB 270, exempting many employees from being paid the minimum wage, should also be abolished, post haste.
