ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center will feature an Easter Ham dinner at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1. Everyone is invited.
This year’s Trash and Treasure community sale will benefit the center. The event will take place on Saturday, April 11, in the St. Ignatius Community Center. Local vendors, individuals and nonprofit organizations will offer a wide variety of items for sale. There will also be a silent auction. Food and refreshments will be available.
The proceeds from this year’s sale will help the senior citizens center address a critical storage problem. The tiny, dilapidated shed behind the center is used to store crutches, wheel chairs, walkers and other miscellaneous items. Anyone wishing to donate money or items for the sale may do at the Trash ‘N Treasure web site or at the center, or call the center or center president Mack McConnell at (406) 745-4151. Quality silent auction items of any kind are especially needed.
The center menu and events for April are as follows:
• Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
• Lunches begin at noon.
• Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Wednesday, April 1: Easter ham dinner, 5:30 p.m.
• Friday, April 3: salmon lunch
• Tuesday, April 7: tater tot casserole lunch
• Friday, April 10:baked chicken and birthday cake lunch
• Monday, April 13: pinochle, 7 p.m.
• Tuesday, April 14: cowboy casserole lunch
• Wednesday, April 15: roast dinner, 5:30 p.m.
• Friday, April 17: stir fry lunch
• Tuesday, April 21: pancakes, egg bake etc. lunch
• Friday, April 24: meatloaf lunch
• Tuesday, April 28: beef Stroganoff lunch
• Lunches can be delivered to qualified seniors.
