Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases for Apil 17-23:

Niki Mariah Bates, 22, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. She was found guilty and fined $100, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended. Bates also pleaded not guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle owner or operator, second offense. She was found guilty and fined $350, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.

Kory Craig Christophersen, 34, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for following too closely, reasonable and prudent.’

Brandon Val Simmons, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $200, $35 in court costs.

Matthew Abram Morris, 57, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $450 and $35 in court costs.

Brandon David Drake, 30, pleaded not guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, second offense. He was fined $350, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 8 days suspended or 6 days house arrest in lieu of jail.

Ralph N. Luciano, 52, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was fined $400, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended. He may serve 30 days house arrest in place of 10 days jail.

Toby A. Glantz, 35, pleaded not guilty to hunting or fishing during closed season, game animal. Per a plea agreement, he was fined $100 and $35 in court costs and 180 days in jail. Glantz also pleaded not guilty to unlawful use of equipment while hunting, spotting/artificial light/snare/bait (Game animals/game birds).

Mary Ann Holt, 41, pleaded not to disorderly conduct. Per a plea agreement, she was fined $50, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended.

Tasheena Renee Mitchell, 27, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. She was found guilty and fined $100, $35 in court costs and 180 days in jail with all suspended.

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Cassandra Martine Perkins, 33, fined $85; Ona Mehita Davis, 36, fined $20; Maxwell Stephen Briggs, 23, fined $20; Nicholas Mariino Bassani, 26, fined $20; Timothy Michael Shanks, 42, fined $105; Brandon Scott Smith, 43, fined $20; Jill Ursua Haugestuen, 54, fined $20.

Sara Jeannette Brueckmann, 21, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation and a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.

The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and fined $20: Jeffrey Paul Wilson, 60; Robert Ryan Thurman, 19; Herbert E. Sias II, 42; Mark Alan Wheeler, 41; John Frederick Lewison, 52.

Heather Michelle McLeod, 40, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs.

Jason Marcel Brown, 40, pleaded guilty to vicious dog control-licensed or unlicensed. He was fined $100 and $35 in court costs.

Loy Peter Bink, 35, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for stop sign violation.
