We always seem to want the front of the bus, the back of the church and the center of attention.
For years, Mary Arden subscribed to the paper and brought it in every morning for all to enjoy. Now that she’s residing at Polson Health and Rehab, Rich Cannan has stepped up to the plate and bought the subscription for us. Thank you, Rich, for doing that.
Also, thank you to my wife, Fran, who helps me with the lawn mowing here. Hmmm. Maybe I can get her to put the fertilizer on, also.
A group of ladies will be starting playing Mahjong here on Wednesday, May 6. Welcome to them.
Bingo is back every Friday. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. with the first game starting at 7 p.m.
Our lunch menu for the coming week will be:
• Thursday, April 30: beef stroganoff, noodles
• Friday, May 1: cheeseburgers, potato wedges
• Monday, May 4: beef stew
• Tuesday, May 5: Kaye’s enchiladas
• Wednesday, May 6: hot turkey sandwich
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
