RONAN — Ok, who is up for a happy, carefree time? The Ronan Senior Citizen’s Center is geared for such a deal. Good food, company and a safe environment is what we strive toward. No criticism, bad language or put-downs are tolerated, just great people. We’re mostly retired and look out for each other. If you’re lonesome and need a friendly bunch to have lunch with, give us a try. The center is located at 528 Main Street. You can call (406) 676-2367 and ask for Andrea or call the Council on Aging (406) 676-2371, for more information.

May is full of activity. A dinner is planned for 5 p.m. on May 7; a foot clinic is on May 13 from 10 a.m.-noon; cards are played on May 18 at 7 p.m.; a birthday dinner will be served on May 22 at noon; crafts will be done on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. If you attend all these, you’re a busy person.

Call Lynette from Meals on Wheels before 10 a.m. to order or cancel an order for lunch.

Menu:

•  An especially good part of the meals is they are served with dessert, coffee, milk, juice...come see for yourself.

•  A reminder: if you take extra food, please pay extra. Thanks.

•  Wednesday, May 6: taco salad, vegetables, fruit, tortilla chips

•  Thursday, May 7: pork roast, mashed potatoes, vegies, fruit, rolls

•  Friday, May 8: soup, sandwiches, salad, vegetables, fruit, bread

•  Monday, May 11: barbecue chicken, mashed potatoes, vegies, fruit

•  Wednesday, May 13: shepherds pie, salad, vegetables, fruit

Enjoy the sun but don’t forget your sunscreen and wear a hat for shade. Looking good.
