On behalf of the St. Luke Community Healthcare Board of Directors, this letter is to thank the efforts and leadership of our local state representatives Dan Salomon of House District 93 and George Kipp, III of House District 15 for their votes in support of Senate Bill 405 – The Montana Health and Economic and Livelihood Partnership Act (HELP Act). This legislation expands health care coverage, improves access to health care services and promotes a healthier workforce for the State of Montana.
Moreover, Dan Salomon is to be commended on his courageous effort to do what he felt was best for Montana despite the political pressure from his party leadership on this bill. Representative Salomon has shown that he can put politics and party aside, work out differences and come up with common sense solutions for the people of Montana – a true statesman.
