POLSON – If pro is the opposite of con, what is the opposite of progress? Congress!
We will be closed Memorial Day.
A group of ladies began playing mahjong this past Wednesday. They seem to be a decent, well-behaved and fun-loving bunch; we didn’t have to call security even once. We’re looking forward to seeing them again.
Our dining hall floor was refinished this past weekend. And with the new chairs we’ll be just like “uptown.” Stop in for lunch and check it out.
Did you feel the ground trembling just as little last Friday afternoon? Donna Cason was high scorer at bridge. That happens so seldom I just had to mention it.
Our lunch menu for the coming week will be:
– Thursday, May 21: chili dogs, cheese and onions
– Friday, May 22: Birthday lunch, roast beef, whipped potatoes
– Monday, May 25: Closed for Memorial Day
– Tuesday, May 26: sausage gravy, biscuits
– Wednesday, May 27: meat loaf
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
