News from the Flathead Reservation Fish and Wildlife Board
The Flathead Reservation Fish and Wildlife Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Polson City Library.
At the meeting, the board will discuss pheasant and gray partridge seasons and Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes’ accomplishments over the past year under the state/tribal agreement. All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting.
The full agenda is listed below:
- 6 p.m.: Call meeting to order; review and approve prior meeting minutes
- 6:30 p.m.: Pheasant and partridge season DRAFT for discussion
- 7 p.m.: CSKT projects: past accomplishments; future projects
- 8 p.m.: Spring field trip planning, CSKT
- 8:15 p.m.: New business, public comment, adjourn
The Flathead Reservation Fish and Wildlife Board includes three state members, three CSKT members and one member from the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The board chairman is Terry Tanner of Ronan.
The board was established pursuant to the state/tribal agreement on managing fisheries, waterfowl and bird hunting within the boundaries of the Flathead Indian Reservation.
