POLSON – Old age is when it takes longer to rest than to get tired. I did several hours of work around the yard this weekend and of course it took me all weekend.
Jane will be trimming toenails this coming Wednesday, June 10.
We’re still trying to get a group together to play pinochle on Thursdays. Talk it up, gather up some friends and give us a call.
And, of course, bingo will be held here on Friday.
Our cook, Wanda, is back now after her knee surgery. Thank you, Jo, for filling in for her.
Our lunch menu for the coming week:
– Thursday, June 4: pork chops, rice and gravy
– Friday, June 5: cheeseburger, potato chips, baked beans
– Monday, June 8: Navy bean and ham soup
– Tuesday, June 9: turkey slices, whipped potatoes
– Wednesday, June 10: hamburger steak, sweet potatoes
– Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
