Two items from the Valley Journal bring me here.
1. Resort Tax: I live year around here in Polson but to the city bear no difference to them based on my golf fees being the same as a summer visitor while “city” residents have a lower fee. Whitefish has a tier fee application that takes both positions into account. In Polson, you’re in or out. If that same attitude applies to a resort tax application here, look for me to adjust my spending habits.
2. I concur with the letter from Susan Brueggeman regarding supporting the road levy. Knowing Greg Hertz chose to insure the death of infrastructure monies in the last legislative session I hope those who see the need for improvements in this area and are willing to share the cost see the need to elect representatives with a broader scope of concern for our State than that shown by Hertz.
