Judith Lehto
KALISPELL – Judith M. “Judy” Burland Lehto, 73, died of cancer, May 29, 2015. She was born July 14, 1941, in St. Ignatius to Hubert and Wanda Burland.
She married Leonard LeRoy Long, had three children and they divorced. She moved to Mission Valley and met Jake her companion. When Jake died of cancer, Judy took care of him up to the end.
Judy, a proud member of the Salish Kootenai Tribes, enjoyed the 25 years she worked for S&K Electronics, Inc. Her biggest joy was a family barbecue.
Judy’s best friend, dog Lily; daughters Cyndy Long of Pablo and Lisa (Guy) Stinger of Pablo; son, Steven Long of Seattle, Washington; five grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren survive her.
Judy’s father; Hubert; brother, Herb; stepdad, Ralph Strong; companion, Jake Packard; mother, Wanda; and sadly her cat, (who died two days before Judy); precede her in death.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. on July 11, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ronan with a potluck barbecue to follow.
